Zareen holds an M.Phil degree in Psychiatric Social Work with two years of clinical training at Dr. RML Hospital in Delhi. During her training, she conducted comprehensive assessments, including mental status examinations, developed psychosocial diagnoses, and provided therapeutic interventions through individual and group therapy sessions. She completed her postgraduate studies in Social Work at Delhi School of Social Work and has significant experience working with refugees and asylum seekers experiencing mental health issues. She has also managed cases of gender-based violence (GBV), offering interventions and support to survivors.

At MAP, Zareen is a Psychosocial Counsellor and will provide support across all of the organisation’s programmes.
