Smriti completed her B.A. LLB. degree from Symbiosis Law School, Noida in 2016. Following her degree, she embarked on a two-year tenure at a law firm where she represented clients in various courts and fora and specialised in consumer matters. Later, she served as a Law Clerk with Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri at the High Court of Delhi, where she gained an invaluable experience in criminal law. Smriti then pursued an Advanced Masters in European and International Human Rights Law from Leiden University in 2020. Previously, she worked at the Delhi Commission for Women as a Legal Supervisor in the Rape Crisis Cell Programme where she provided assistance and legal support to the survivors of sexual assault.
At MAP, Smriti is a Catalyst for Change Fellow and assists the Legal Representation programme.
