Sangamithra Saravanan

MAP Fellow

Sangamithra holds a PG Diploma in Human Rights, International Humanitarian, and Refugee Laws from The Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi, and a B.A. (Hons.) in Sociology from Miranda House, Delhi University. Her research interests lie in Refugee Studies and the Sociology of Music. She has experience as an educator, teaching Music and Global Perspectives with a focus on topics such as "Home, Belongingness, and Refugees." Previously, she worked for Humanitarian Aid International as a Field Officer (Refugee Programme) and has volunteered with organizations advocating for refugee rights, such as The Azadi Project and Rethinking Refugees.

At MAP, Sangamithra is a Catalyst for Change Fellow and assists the Legal Representation programme.
