Saie has completed her doctoral studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. Her research was based on Amartya Sen’s Capability Approach where she argued for tackling vulnerabilities to trafficking and unsafe migration of women and children by enhancing their capabilities. She has been able to develop a framework for a policy on prevention to trafficking and unsafe migration. Saie also has a Masters in Criminology from the National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, Delhi and has previously worked on human trafficking, migration and incarceration.
At MAP Saie is responsible for implementation with the organisation’s legal representation programme as well as other programmatic work.
