Jhinuk completed her Masters in Gender and Peace Building from the University of Peace, Costa Rica in 2013. She also has a Masters in English Literature from Delhi University. Jhinuk has worked with the ICRC Regional Delegation in India for over four years, the UNHCR field office in India for two years and the Cox's Bazar field office for six months. In Costa Rica, she undertook research on the alternatives to incarceration for perpetrators of domestic violence and also spent a few months working as a teaching assistant at her university. At M.A.P, Jhinuk is responsible for the management of the organisation’s flagship programme that focuses on providing legal representation to clients in UNHCR’s Refugee Status Determination process. Jhinuk also handles the organisation’s external communications and is involved in preparing project-specific reports and donor engagements.
