Astha completed her B.A.LL.B. from GGSIP University in 2014 and worked in litigation before completing her LL.M. in International Criminal Justice and Armed Conflict from the University of Nottingham in 2018. She is committed towards the promotion and empowerment of disadvantaged communities, including migrants and refugees and has previously worked with the Samarpan Foundation in New Delhi where she managed the implementation of projects focused on women empowerment.
At MAP, Astha is responsible for the implementation and management of the organisation’s pilot programme that focuses on strengthening access to justice for migrant workers through legal awareness, assistance and advocacy.
